The purpose of this project is to develop 3D graphic simulations that
enhance undergraduate and graduate engineering education. This project
is run by The Robotics Research
Group at the University of Texas.
It is sponsored by a grant from the Academic Development Fund.
For a more detailed explanation see the purpose
link above.
Simulations are also listed under their respective subject
areas.
Most simulations use the 3D modeling software RoboWorks
which is installed in the ME Computer Lab on the 3rd floor of ETC.
A Demo version is also available for free download at
Newtonium.
You can now browse through a list of the downloadable Roboworks 3D Model Samples.
You can request the simulations that we have developed or make suggestions
for any new simulations that you would like to see in your coursework.
You can get in touch with us through our
contact page or by sending an email to:
Dr. Kapoor chetan@mail.utexas.edu
Dr. Rich Hooper did some of
the early work in robot simulations at the Robotics Research Group.
