Directions to RRG
Overview
The Robotics Research Group is located in room 1.206 of the MER bldg. on Pickle Research Campus (PRC). PRC is about 7 miles north of UT main campus.
Getting here from campus using the PRC bus.
The PRC Shuttle schedule can be found here along with a map here. (pdf file). There is a stop directly in front of the MER building (see map below) on Harry Ransom Trail. It is the last stop before the shuttle ends it route back in front of the Commons building. The driver can let you know when that is if you ask.

Written Directions
Coming from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport:
  1. Follow Signs on President Blvd. to exit airport.
  2. Exit left to enter highway 71 (Basdrop Highway)
  3. Merge onto highway 183 going north
  4. Go about 12 miles on 183 North and take the Burnet Road exit.
  5. Get into the far right lane of the 183 frontage road as soon as possible (Watch for merging traffic)
  6. Turn Right onto Burnet Road (traffic light)
  7. Go about half a mile and look to the left for the concrete sign for the Pickle Research Campus sign and turn in.
  8. Check with the security guard and get a temporary permit.
  9. Also, you can ask the guard to direct you to the MER Bldg. (bldg. #160).
  10. After passing through the gate, you will be on Read Granberry Trail.
  11. Make the first left on Harry Ransom Trail.
  12. Make an immediate right into the MER Building parking lot.
  13. The Robotics Research Group is located in room 1.206.
  14. Enter the front door and take a left.
Coming From MoPac (Loop 1):
  1. Exit Braker Lane.
  2. Go east on Braker Lane; turn right into the gate at the first traffic light.
  3. You will see the Pickle Research Campus sign.
  4. Check with the security guard and get a temporary permit.
  5. Also, you can ask the guard to direct you to the MER Bldg. (bldg. #160).
  6. Once you pass the guard you will be on Road A.
  7. Drive until Road A dead ends and turn left on Read Granberry Trail.
  8. Take the first right onto Harry Ransom Trail.
  9. Take the first right into the MER Building parking lot.
  10. The Robotics Research Group is located in room 1.206.
  11. Enter the front door and take a left.
Coming From I-35 N:
  1. From I-35 take exit for 183 North (Research Blvd, Exit # 240b).
  2. From 183 take the Burnet Road Exit.
  3. Make a Right on Burnet (head North).
  4. Follow Burnet Road until you reach the Pickle Research Campus concrete sign on your left.
  5. Check with the security guard and get a temporary permit.
  6. Also, you can ask the guard to direct you to the MER Bldg. (bldg. #160).
  7. Once you pass the guard booth, you will pass through the PRC gate.
  8. After passing through the gate, you will be on Read Granberry Trail.
  9. Make the first left on Harry Ransom Trail.
  10. Make an immediate right into the MER Building parking lot.
  11. The Robotics Research Group is located in room 1.206.
  12. Enter the front door and take a left.
